All laid out on the table

Top ups after you finish the first bowl of rice.

The 1st day of Chinese New Year ... mom will cook a vegetarian dish.

Hoong Foong Dim sum at USJ 22

I managed to meet up with a close friend, Chen for breakfast before dropping her off to the airport on Saturday. She has a blog here and she is very popular in the blogsphere.

We decided to have dim sum at Hoong Foong restaurant at USJ 22. It was one of the popular dim sum places in USJ is usually packed on the weekends.

Chen and me had not met for a long time and it was nice to have a fellow buddy who also takes pictures for her blog .. so both of us whipped out our cameras ( incidentally we both bought the same camera .. FujiFilm F100FD ) and started taking pictures of the food.

It was great to meet up with a friend and just chat about old times and enjoy a good meal together. Yes it is great to be alive .. to wake up in the morning for a brand new day.

Dim sum with minced meat and prawns ... YUMMY !!!!!

Please pray for my sister

My brother in law and sister just left my apartment and I received more information regarding her pregnancy and the reason why she is getting admitted on Friday. She had gone for her regular check up and she is 37 weeks 5 days today. On Ultrasound, the doctor noted that the amniotic fluid was less than normal, therefore she advice my sister to get admitted on Friday for induction of labour and the doc will give her 24 hrs for a normal labour or else she will have to undergo a caesarian section by Saturday evening. Fetal movements according to my sister is less than normal and I have told my sister to monitor the fetal movement just in case.

Please pray for my sister and the safe delivery of my niece...that both mother and child will be safe.

Thanks alot .. appreciate it.

I will be having another niece by this weekend :P

My chains are gone

Amazing grace - my chains are gone - by Chris Tomlin

Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy rains
Unending love, Amazing grace

The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine

With all I am - by Hillsong

Into Your hands
I commit again
With all I am, for You, Lord
You hold my world
In the palm of Your hand
And I am Yours forever

Jesus I believe in You
Jesus I belong to You
You're the reason that I live
The reason that I sing
With all I am

I'll walk with You
Wherever You go
Through tears and joy
I'll trust in You
And I will live
In all of Your ways
And Your promises, forever

I will worship
I will worship You

I always recharge whenever I attend church and God knows just the right message and song to speak to my heart. As always the songs picked by the song leader and the messages given by my pastor are exactly what I needed to hear. These 2 songs spoke to me and cleared away the fog that was surrounding me the past few days.....and I was reminded again about why I am here.

I was reminded again that I was set free.... that my chains are gone. My life is in the palm of His hands.
